This week I spotted Valerie Gonzalez while on my way back to my car from class and I wanted to ask her about her fit! Check out this weeks interview to see the details about her fit .
On this weeks interview, Valerie Gonzalez. She is undecided with her major at California state university Long Beach. I noticed her on my way back from my class on Wednesday and decided to interview her and ask her to break down her outfit for us this week. She stood out to me because she had vibrant colors with a floral print which made her outfit an eye catcher. Her style reminded me of the streetwear of skaters or surfers because of her cargo pants and her oversized button up top. She wore a couple of accessories like a gold chain with her name on the pendent and a ring that had vampire teeth on it. She wore a blue oversized button up shirt with a black floral print on it that she got from Amazon. She paired that with beige colored cargo pants that she got from Walmart and blue Vans that she got as a present from her friend. Streetwear is constantly changing throughout the years and doesn't all look the same. I would say her style is not recent or old, the skater look has practically woven itself into street fashion. Her outfit is refreshing because I haven't seen someone dress like that in a while. I loved the top she had because of the color and the print.

Weekly Moodboard!
Valerie's style radiates that skater/ surfer style of streetwear. Every piece flowed with each other and did not look forced together. Her style reminds me of that mid 2010-2013 skater style with her use of the button up, cargo pants, the Vans and the jewerly. This type of fashion has embedded itself in fashion and will not fall out of style but instead stay constant. I've noticed that in clothing, cargo pants have been very popular and are making their way back into everybody's closet.
