Who?

This week I interviewed Ceana Gross. I absolutely fell in love with her vibe and her confidence when I saw her walking by me. She had such a vibrant energy and style that really caught my attention, and I really wanted to get to know more about her and her personal style. I learned that not only is she a Fashion Design student but she also takes the crown for being a thrifty queen.

What's Your Vibe ?

I was lucky enough to ask Ceana some questions diving into her style, her personal favs, and her sources for inspiration.

Roxie : "Who are your style icons at the moment?"

Ceana : " My style icons have to be Devon Lee Carlson and Bella Hadid. Also all of my best friends are my style icons because they are all so cute and fashionable and give me a lot of inspiration."

Roxie : "Do you have any favorite brands ?"

Ceana : "My favorite brand to shop is Free People. I also really like Paloma Wool umm..and I am so obsessed with the brand Mowaloa. I don't know there are so many to choose from but I'd have to say those are my top three at the moment."

Roxie : "Where do you find inspiration ?"

Ceana : "To be honest most of my information comes from being online. I like to scroll Pinterest, Vogue Runway, TikTok and sometimes music videos."

Roxie : "I can tell you're an avid thrifter because of your fully thrifted outfit today. Do you have a holy grail thrifted item you've found or hope to find one day?"

Ceana : " I actually have found my holy grail thrifted item, a few years ago. I found a Balenciaga City Bag for $50 at the thrift. That was definitely on my 'I hope I come across this at the thrift list' and I was so excited to cross it off. The funny thing is I didn't even end up keeping it I gave it to someone as a gift because I thought it would look better on them but I still think it is really cool that I found one."

Roxie : "Do you have any fashion icks?"

Ceana : "I don't have too many fashion icks because I feel like everyone is able to pull off a style if they like it enough. I would just have to say that I hate when people sag to the point where their whole butt is out and their jeans are about to fall to their ankles. I can get behind a little saggy and baggy moment, it can be cute, but sometimes it goes too far and I can't stand it."

Roxie : "Now I know you are a fashion design student, so I am sure you pay attention and are up to date with some runway shows. My final question is, If you could attend any fashion show in the past or during the current fashion season, which one would you attend?"

Ceana : " Yes I am ! I think if I could attend any fashion show I would say that I would want to attend the Diesel F/W 2022 because I feel like it was a really cool rebranding for Diesel with Glenn Martin as their new creative director. I felt like it was a really good moment for them as a brand."
