StreetWear at CSULB

On this week of Street Threadz we see what street fits(outfit) stands out the most at CSULB. This week I chose to interview Amie Alvarado who is a nursing major from Monterey Park. Her style is one of the more casual and relaxed style of StreetWear. Even well being in comfortable clothes she can still be stylish and show her personality through it. Through her fashion you are able to see she derives her style from her music, which is Hip-Hop. She wore a 59FIFTY brown fitted Orioles hat with a green under brim along with a black OnTheGo hoodie with the brand name across the chest in crystals. She wore those with custom sweats that have Jack the Skeletons face on them towards the bottom of the legs along with white Air Force ones. She purchased the hat from ExtremeWear, the sweater online from OnTheGo, the sweats were custom by her friend, and the shoes from Nike. I created a mood board down below that shows the vibe of her style and to show that everyone style derives from not only the culture but from the things that we hold a connection with. Streetwear is a style that was built from the street up and will always be around showcasing people’s identities.
